Summary

The Tripod Cannon was a heavy, stationary blaster cannon deployed by the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. The weapon featured a thick cylindrical main barrel with longitudinal cooling ridges and a flared muzzle brake. A boxy receiver housed the firing mechanism, while rear D-shaped spade grips allowed a trooper to manually swing and aim the weapon. The entire blaster assembly connected via an articulated pivot joint to an adjustable tripod. |
